Street scene in Cape Town's affluent Camps Bay suburb, renowned for its white, palm-fringed beaches and trendy night life. Centuries ago, the area was inhabited by San hunter-gatherers, Khoi pastorates; the surrounding mountains were covered in forests containing lion, leopard and antelope. [South Africa, 2013]
Part of Hospital Bend, a major freeway junction, located to the east of Cape Town's CBD. It takes its name from the fact that it curves around the grounds of the world-famous Groote Schuur Hospital; it also flanks Devil's Peak, and in parts offers stunning views of Table Mountain, Table Bay, and the Cape Town CBD.
