Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe

Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, also known as the Holocaust Memorial, in Berlin. It consists of a 19,000 square-meter site covered with 2,711 concrete slabs, arranged in a grid pattern on a sloping field. It is designed to produce an uneasy, confusing atmosphere, representing a supposedly ordered system that has lost touch with human reason. [Germany, 2015]
